The Harvard Latino Leadership Initiative. Established by the Center for Public Leadership (CPL) at the Harvard Kennedy School. Included training in “Public Narrative,” which refers to the art of transforming values into action through stories. “Public Narrative” is a story-telling technique developed by social movement activists in the US. Its leading figure today is Senior Lecturer at Harvard University Dr. Marshall Ganz.Hosted at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX. June 2014.

Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership Summer Retreat. Retreat focused on the concept of “intersectionality” and the importance of considering different dimensions of identity when engaging in social justice research and initiatives.
