Math Department Open House

Are you considering applying to graduate school in mathematics? Do you want to learn more about it? UC Irvine will be hosting a virtual Open House on Tuesday, November 2 at 4pm, where you can learn about:

  • The math PhD program at UCI
  • Cutting-edge math research via student and faculty presentations
  • Teaching & Outreach in the UCI Math Department

There will also be grad student panels and faculty Q&A breakout sessions, so you can ask questions about what grad student life is like, or dive into a particular research topic with a professor!

The breakout sessions will be organized into the following groups

  • Logic
  • Algebra
  • Geometry
  • Applied Math
  • Mathematical Biology
  • Analysis, PDEs and Math Physics
  • Probability and Combinatorics

All are welcome, even if you are not applying to grad school this year. We hope you can join us, and discover the math graduate program at UCI!
