Things to do in Irvine
Parking: Parking is available outside Gross Hall, in Lot 83. Parking permits can be purchased at a permit dispenser in Lot 83 (click here for Google map directions to permit dispenser). If parking lot #83 is full, you may also park in lots 81 and 82 after purchasing the permit.
Travel by airplane: John Wayne / Orange Airport (SNA) is the most convenient airport and is 10 minutes by taxi from campus. Long Beach Airport (LGB) is within 30 minutes of Irvine. Los Angeles International (LAX) is 1-2 hours.
Travel by train: The Tustin and Irvine train stations are served by Metrolink and the Amtrak Surfliner and are 10 minutes by taxi from campus.
