UCI Health INFORMATIONAL – Introduction to Microsoft Copilot and ZotGPT
READ the following information that was shared on January 30, 2024 by UCI Health BEFORE use of ZotGPT:
Microsoft Copilot with commercial data protection (formerly Bing Chat Enterprise) and ZotGPT Chat generative AI tools are now available for UCI Health personnel, and guests with HS user accounts. Microsoft Copilot with commercial data protection and ZotGPT Chat are similar to other generative AI tools but Microsoft Copilot with commercial data protection and ZotGPT Chat do not disclose your chat data to the public nor use your chat data to train the generative AI.
Microsoft Copilot with commercial data protection and ZotGPT Chat are approved for use with UCI Health information classified P1 (Public), P2 (Internal), or P3 (Proprietary).
Microsoft Copilot with commercial data protection and ZotGPT Chat are not approved for use with UCI Health information classified P4 (Statutory), including protected health information (PHI).

How to use ZotGPT Chat
- Navigate to https://chat.zotgpt.uci.edu/ in your web browser.
- Login with your UCInetID and Password.
- Approve the DUO multifactor authentication notification on your mobile device if prompted.
- Click + New Chat.
- Enter your question in the Send a message box.
- Click Submit.
