Prior to the Event

1. Mark your calendar for 15-minutes of time between February 14, 2024 at 9:00AM PST and conclude at 9:00AM PST on February 15, 2024.
2. Schedule to join us for one of the three optional virtual prompting information sessions at 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. via Zoom.
3. Think about the generative AI tool that you would like to use (see list below).

Below are some free options for generative AI:

Data protection through UCI ZotGPT AI service:

• ZotGPT (for UCI faculty/staff access only)
• Microsoft Copilot (with commercial data protection from UCI-managed PCs and virtual desktops)

Public versions with no data protection that may require account creation:

• OpenAI ChatGPT 3.5
• Microsoft Copilot (formerly Bing Chat)
• Google Gemini (formerly Bard)
• Claude AI

Though this event will focus on text generation AI tools, we encourage you to to explore tools for image generation as well.
