The Fundamental Values for MREA

Education

The Real Estate and Urban Development Concentration at The Paul Merage School of Business not only imparts fundamentals, but also teaches students how to apply them to the dynamic world of business. MREA compliments the academic program and seeks to:

  • Keep members current on the latest trends and developments in the real estate industry through the strong community, alumni and industry networks.
  • Provide opportunities to learn from local real estate professionals through speaker seminars and on-site visits.

Networking

There’s no better time than now to start building your network. The MREA is focused on building an active real estate alumni association, in addition to its efforts in assisting members to:

  • Establish mutually beneficial relationships with leading professionals, companies and organizations in the industry.
  • Maximize networking opportunities for members by hosting a variety of events.

Career Development

Southern California is home to several industry leading real estate companies. These regional firms continue to show a strong interest in hiring from the local talent pool. MREA works closely with the Merage Center for Real Estate and the Career Center to facilitate recruitment in real estate by:

  • Hosting various industry events to expose students to all facets of real estate to enable the opportunity to pursue internships in various sectors such as development, asset management, private equity, property management and many more.
  • Establishing and maintaining a pipeline with recruiters to increase on-campus recruiting.
