Our Executive Board
MREA’s board is comprised of individuals who are passionate about real estate. We have varying levels of prior experience and different interests, but we are connected as one to help other like-minded individuals. We are excited to be a part of this organization.
Matthew Suarez brings three years of experience in automotive logistics as a production supervisor with Toyota Logistics Services, where he managed large-scale operations and union teams. Matt is currently pivoting his career into commercial real estate development and property management, with a particular focus on industrial assets. In his role with MREA, he is committed to creating opportunities for students to engage with industry leaders, expand their networks, and explore careers in real estate. Outside of school and work, Matt enjoys being around friends and family as well as golf, fitness, traveling, and exploring new food spots.

Julia Eggert is pursuing a career in investment management, with a focus on real estate and private equity. This past summer, she completed an Investment Analyst internship with Anton Development Company (AntonDevCo) and will return next year to join American River Partners, a new investment platform, where she will continue to expand her expertise in alternative investing. Prior to business school, Julia worked in real estate marketing and operations, most recently at Shopoff Realty Investments, where she supported due diligence events, entitlement projects, and development branding. She also held roles with Colliers International and CBRE, building experience across multifamily and commercial real estate transactions. Julia earned dual bachelor’s degrees from Southern Methodist University in Corporate Communications & Public Affairs and Sociology with a business emphasis. Outside of work and school, she enjoys traveling, skiing, yoga, theatre, and staying active with the Newport Run Club and Book Club.
