About Me
I am a PhD candidate at UC Irvine’s Department of Chemistry in the Yu / Andricioaei group. My research interests revolve around using computational tools to better understand the atomistic details involved in biomolecules. Currently I am working on understanding the intrinsic nucleotide selectivity of the SARS-CoV-2 RNA dependent RNA polymerase (more details on Research page).
I am passionate about education, specifically creating more opportunities and support for historically marginalized groups. As a first generation college student myself my teaching philosophy and mentorship focuses on making science more accessible. I am always happy to talk to students interested in science and computational work so do not be afraid to reach out! Email: moiseser@uci.edu.

Outside of lab I enjoy tinkering with various other computer and computation tools. I am also a long time fan of arcade games and love playing fighting games (Tekken).
