NewForum accepts submissions of previously unpublished fiction, poetry, essays, and artwork. We are not interested in publishing works of genre fiction (i.e. romance, mystery, or science fiction); nevertheless, we are welcoming of writing that borrows elements from any of these styles.
NewForum is open for non-fiction and art submissions until April 15, 2024. Submissions for fiction and poetry are now closed.

Some Requests
- Please submit only one story, one essay, and up to three poems during a reading period.
- Please use page numbers, and double-space for anything prose.
- Each poem should begin on a new page.
- We request that pieces of prose be no longer than 15 pages and poetry submissions do not exceed a total of 6 pages (single-spaced).
- Please include your name and submission type in the subject line of your email. (EXAMPLE: PETER ANTEATER – POETRY)
