Did you know that cooking can be a stress reliever? Cooking can be a creative outlet for many people by allowing you to try different ideas and even decorate your plate! Cooking also activates your sense of smell, touch, taste, sight, and even hearing. If you have anxiety, cooking allows you to be the boss and is a great stress reliever. You are in complete control of what you cook, how you cook and including any items for your dietary needs.
Cooking can also be a way to express love to another person. The old saying goes: “The path to a person’s heart is through their stomach.”
Recently, the HWWG group found the 1992 Libraries’ recipe book titled “Bones are Petite.” It’s 113 pages full of goodies. I decided to try out Kim Bishop’s recipe, “Deluxe Deviled Eggs.” I made a few modifications due to dietary restrictions, but the result was delicious. Check out the result in the picture below!
This summer, HWWG is collecting summer recipes. Please share your recipes here and keep on cooking!
