June Gloom is finally giving way to sunnier and warmer days. We’re doing more outside, visiting with family or friends, picnics, Fourth of July, pool parties, you name it. When the temperature heats up, cooking or eating hot foods is not as appealing. I crave a nice cool and crisp salad, and there are so many different ingredients you can add from there. Salads don’t take long to put together on a busy evening, you can plan ahead, and even use leftovers from a previous night’s protein dish to add to your salad.
I was looking for a new salad recipe, and I found a great site that has 30 days of summer potluck salads. I now have an endless list of salads to make for myself or to share.
