PARADE (Patient And Family member Reactions to biomarker-informed ADRD DiagnosEs)
The PARADE study aims to better understand the experiences for people being evaluated for memory and other thinking problems , including receiving biomarker test results (such as an amyloid brain scan) as well as the experiences for family members.
What is involved
If you decide to join the study, you will be asked to participate in four confidential interviews with the research team over video or telephone calls. The first interview would occur ideally before you complete your biomarker tests (brain scan, CSF samples, or blood sample).
Benefits
There are no direct benefits from participation in this study but the information we learn will help to create recommendations and resources that will be beneficial for people undergoing a similar diagnoses.
Compensation
Participants will receive up to $150 for completing the study.
