News in the Department

Fan-Gang Zeng, a Joint appointee in Anatomy & Neurobiology, was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering. He was recognized for his work on engineering better treatments for hearing loss and tinnitus, and for fostering inclusiveness in the field of engineering.

Munjal Acharya, PhD has been selected as the winner of the 2023 School of Medicine Equity and Diversity in Mentoring Award.

Xiangmin Xu, PhD has been selected as the winner of the 2023 School of Medicine Outstanding Mid-Career Faculty Research Award.

Lulu Chen, PhD has been selected to receive the 2023 Rising Star Award from the Center for Neurobiology of Learning and memory.
