Selected Evaluations:
Paul’s strongest point is that he is responsive to the students and that he makes it really easy to talk to him. I would also say that he really helped me with writing my short paper this quarter. I found his tip about writing essay outlines to be extremely useful in helping me build my essay.
Providing constructive criticism is a very difficult thing to do, but the TA is able to do that. The TA understands a how to write an essay that critically analyzes works, and uses that information to be able to help my classmates and I in constructing our own essays, but does it in a way that lets the student grow as a writer without giving the answer directly to them.
