Instructors may implement a variety of methods to deliver course content and facilitate student engagement.

Below are instructions for how to utilize YuJa and Zoom, two common tools that will be used by instructors.

Remote Testing

Below are instructions for students for exams that are to be administered using Respondus or Examity.

We also want to make you aware that while Respondus and Examity are typically paid services, students will not be charged for using these services.Important Considerations

  1. Double-check the TIME ZONE
  2. Double-check the time of day for scheduling- AM or PM
  3. Run the computer requirements check at least twice, including once a bit before testing

  • Note: LockDown Browser is not compatible with Chromebooks or ChromeOS
  • Windows: 10, 8, 7
  • Mac: OS X 10.10 or higher
  • Web camera (internal or external) & microphone
  • A broadband internet connection

  • Desktop computer or laptop (tablets, Chromebook and cell phones do not meet our requirements)
  • A working built-in or external webcam and microphone
  • Internet speed must be at least 2 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload. Hot spots are not recommended.
  • Browser with pop-up blocker disabled

Communicating with instructors & peers

Instructor/TA to Student

Your instructors have several options when it comes to communicating with you. Here are a few of the commonly used options in Canvas and EEE:
