Dr. Naomi Tabak is the Director of the UCI Psychological Services Center. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2012 at the University of Miami, and her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Ethics at Brown University. Her clinical expertise is in evidence-based treatments for varying mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, and psychosis-spectrum disorders. Since 2016, her career has focused on doctoral supervision and training.
Director of Clinical Training
Dr. Jason Schiffman is a professor, Director of Clinical Training, and the director of the PREVENT Lab in the Department of Psychology at the University of California, Irvine. He completed his PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2003 at the University of Southern California under mentorship of Sarnoff Mednick, and his undergraduate degree in psychology at Emory University under mentorship of Elaine Walker. His research focuses on the early identification and treatment of youth at risk for psychosis, stigma against people with serious mental health concerns, and issues of racial inequity and health disparities for those in the early phases of psychosis.

Associate Director of Clinical Training
Dr. Jessie Borelli is an Associate Professor of Psychological Science at the University of California, Irvine. She is a clinical psychologist specializing in the field of developmental psychopathology; her research focuses on the links between close relationships, emotions, health, and development, with a particular focus on risk for anxiety and depression. In her work, Dr. Borelli is interested in harnessing relationship science to develop interventions to improve mental health and well-being.
