Our current research focus is on the development of new experimental and statistical methods that are optimally conducive to replicability, reproducibility, and generalizability. Jointly, we refer to such methods as “robust” by analogy to robust engineering and robust programming. While classical methods often show poor replicabilty, recent developments in design and statistics, combined with new technologies, have the potential to generate a more robust social science.
