A critical vulnerability in glibc has been discovered by RedHat and Google security researchers. This bug could allow a specially crafted DNS response to cause a buffer overflow and allow remote code execution. Updates for this issue from the various Linux vendors are coming out now. We encourage you to apply this update as soon as possible to avoid a possible system compromise.
