I am a PhD student in theoretical and computational chemistry at UC-Irvine working in the Jin Yu group. My personal research interests are in the use of chemical computations to advance drug discovery, particularly in the field of secondary toxicity. My current research focuses on a mechanistic investigation human mitochondrial RNA polymerase using molecular dynamics (pictured in the background of this website). Outside of the lab, I enjoy spending time with my cat (pictured below), reading, videogames, and cooking.
