Nursing Camp in Summer (NCIS)

With the demand for skilled nurses growing faster than ever, early exposure to the nursing profession is crucial in shaping future healthcare leaders. At the Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing, we are committed to addressing this need through innovative programs like Nursing Camp in Summer (NCIS).

Nursing Camp in Summer (NCIS) provides high school students with an immersive, hands-on introduction to the diverse and rewarding world of nursing. Held at UC Irvine’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing and the Nursing Simulation Center, the camp allows participants to engage in realistic simulations, learn from distinguished faculty, and explore various specialties within nursing.

Since its launch in 2017, NCIS has inspired countless students to pursue careers in nursing, with many alumni now enrolled in top nursing programs nationwide. By building a pipeline of future healthcare professionals, NCIS ensures that society’s growing demand for skilled nurses is met with compassionate and capable leaders.

Join us this summer to take the first step toward a meaningful and impactful career in nursing!
