Founded in 2010, Trans-Scripts is a student-run and edited interdisciplinary journal in the humanities and social sciences at UC Irvine. Its editorial team has consisted of graduate students who specialize in a diverse range of academic fields, including English, Anthropology, History, Art, Social Psychology, Education, Critical Theory, Comparative Literature, Political Science, Women’s Studies, African-American Studies, Criminology, and Philosophy. The inaugural issue was published in February, 2011. Each issue has a special theme; The theme of our seventh volume is “Digital Media and Society.” See the Submissions page for more detailed information about contributing to our journal.
