Welcome to Young Engineers & Scientists (YES) Program
Grade 4-5
This is a no-cost online program that seeks to build capacity and STEM identity in fourth and fifth students around exciting hands-on curricula grounded in community environmental issues. This program brings together UCI faculty and students from the science and engineering departments, as well as teacher leaders to support STEM at the elementary levels.ers to support STEM in middle school levels.

Enroll in this FREE online program to learn about a local phenomenon, civic engineering, inquiry driven digital storytelling, and the important role of humans! All students accepted into the program will receive materials to engage in this fun hands-on experience.

We are not yet taking applications for fourth and fifth graders for our YES program.
Spaces are limited and priority will be given to students on free or reduced lunch from Title 1 schools in Orange County, Riverside, Long Beach, and Los Angeles.
