Khanh Bùi

Khanh Bùi is an undergraduate student at University of California, Irvine majoring in Biological Science. She received her Associate degree of Science from Orange Coast community college. Khanh aspires to attend Pharmacy School in the next few years with the goal of becoming a Pharmacist. Khanh hopes to gain experience and expertise in communicating effectively with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds while working in the Asian American Studies Department. She is always willing to help others, is very friendly, and is a hard worker.

 

Kim Ngan Bui

Kim Ngan Bui is an undergraduate at the University of California, Irvine majoring in biological sciences. With her interest in medicine, she wishes to attend pharmacy school in the new few years to pursue her dream of being a pharmacist. She enjoys working with her community because she feels that together we can all make a difference no matter how small. She hopes to gain new experiences and learn more about her Vietnamese background through the stories of the people involved in the Vietnamese American Oral History Project.

 

 

Giang Doãn

Giang Doãn is currently a major in Biological Sciences at University of California, Irvine. Giang earned her Associate of Sciences degree in Chemistry at Santa Ana College. With her interest in the health field, Giang is pursuing her goal to become a Dentist as she thinks that Dentistry is much like an art form and would allow her to express creativity with her hands. Giang also enjoys volunteering with the community since she believes if we can lend a hand to help people who are in need of help, the community would be stronger.

Vivian Luu is a third-year undergraduate student studying History and Asian American Studies at the University of California, Irvine. She hopes to pursue a career in Student Affairs with her passion for education and working with students. Vivian is excited to contribute to the Vietnamese American Oral History as she believes it is important to preserve our stories and history for future generations.

Kasey Nguyen

Kasey Nguyen is a third-year undergraduate studying Business Administration at University of California, Irvine. With her passion for mathematics, Kasey aspires to become an accountant and a teacher because she would like to make a positive impact on other people’s educational experiences. In her free time, Kasey enjoys volunteering for the environment and teaching cello. She believes that it is always important to help others with our capabilities and to show kindness whenever we can.
