This lecture and demonstration features Michael Anderegg, Professor Emeritus of English, University of Nebraska, speaking about his new book, Lincoln and Shakespeare, accompanied by dramatic readings from Lincoln and Shakespeare, performed by Richard Brestoff, Professor of Drama, UCI.

This new annual series aims to explore the art and legacy of Shakespeare’s plays in a broad humanistic and experimental format that engages undergraduates, staff and community as well as scholars and theater practitioners in lively discussions around drama, literature and life. This event generously funded by an endowed gift from Mr. Kirk Davis.
