Hi there,
My name is Ye Qiao and I am a second year Ph.D. student in the EECS department at University of California, Irvine(UCI). I received my bachelor’s degree majoring in Computer Engineering and minoring in Computer Science from Miami University.
I worked in Professor Sitao Huang and Nader Bagherzadeh‘s research lab. My research interests lie in the field of efficient machine learning/deep learning algorithms and optimization, computer vision, model compression, knowledge distillation, human/brain-computer interaction(HCI/BCI), GPGPU, and heterogeneous architecture, machine learning infrastructure, and reconfigurable logic. My career objectives are to be a research scientist and leader in a field that allows me to conduct innovative research for electrical engineering & computer science industries and academia. More specifically I am interested in developing efficient machine learning models with algorithm/hardware optimization co-design and deploying them in resource-limited edge computing environments. LET US BRING AI EVERYWHERE!!
