UCI has consistently been rated one of the top 10 sustainable universities. The “Campus as a Living Lab” (CLL) internship program offers a unique opportunity for students to become sustainability leaders here on campus, while preparing for the green sector careers of the future.
CLL pairs students with UCI staff working to improve the sustainability of campus operations and systems. Students participate in a year-long internship, along with a year-long class (1 unit per quarter) that introduces sustainability concepts and theories and how they can be applied to our most pressing environmental, social, and economic challenges.
In addition, during summer 2018, selected CLL graduates will be eligible to continue into a paid on-campus energy internship sponsored by Energize Colleges.
If you are interested in learning more about CLL, please visit our website. Applications will be available online by April 1st, 2017. The pre-requisite (BIO194S) can be taken as a 1-unit online course during spring quarter, or during summer session 1 & 2.
We encourage students of all disciplines and backgrounds to apply!
