Eo studied ecology and evolutionary biology at UC Irvine and joined the “Learning From Our AAPI Leaders” team in January of 2020. They fondly remember visiting the Orange County Archives with their peers, Michelle and Taylor, each week. As an early-career science communicator, Eo is interested in learning and creating interdisciplinary solutions to help connect communities with scientists and their research. Eo draws cultural insights and inspiration from their Shin-Nisei (second generation) and Yonsei (fourth generation) background. Currently they are a Solidarity Arts fellow with Vigilant Love for 2021. Beyond research, Eo enjoys digital drawing, singing, and hiking.
