The Arts Plaza for the Claire Trevor School of the Arts began to take shape when celebrated artist Maya Lin was first selected to transform the courtyard to a unique and compelling place. She interpreted the plaza as an environment that embraced the senses, inviting visitors to connect with their surroundings. On October 25, 2005 the Arts Plaza opened to the public as a symbol of enduring aesthetic commitment.
