Instructure updates Canvas every three (3) weeks. Comprehensive update notes are provided, but these posts will detail only the features relevant to our campus.
The 1/10 update includes enhancements to course setup and course navigation.
New Features & Updates
- Redesigned course setup checklist: a new popup course setup checklist has been implemented — the same functionality is available, but its prettier and looks like it will scale better for future updates
- Tweaked course navigation menu: the UI has been cleaned up a bit
- Activity stream notification indicators: a blue dot on the dashboard indicates new activity — the number of “new activity” notifications is no longer displayed
Various bugs were fixed and accessibility enhancements were implemented.
