On May 19th, 2015, CIO Dana Roode sent a ZotMail out to campus faculty and staff about the Canvas Pilot project.

Hello,

This quarter marked the beginning of UCI’s year-long pilot of Instructure Canvas, a commercial learning management system that would augment Electronic Educational Environment (EEE) functionality.

You are invited to the Tuesday, June 2nd Spring Canvas Pilot Update & Instructor Panel, which will include general information about the progress of the project and the formal Canvas Pilot assessment, followed by a panel discussion featuring UCI instructors currently using Canvas.

The instructor panelists will be Nancy Aguilar-Roca (Ecology & Evolutionary Biology), Ricardo Chavira (Social Science), Rose Jones (Academic English/ESL Program), and Miryha Runnerstrom (Health Sciences/Public Health).
