It’s the most wonderful time of the quarter again – finals week! Here are some study tips from the PAAs…
- Avoid distractions (turn off your wi-fi!).
- Switch up the subjects you study to avoid fatigue.
- Take a break when you get tired – there’s no point working if you’re not retaining information.
- Plan the length of your study period not by the clock, but by the amount of material you want to cover. The clock can be a major distraction!
- At the end of of a study period, review the material you just covered to remember it better.
- Get a good night’s sleep, as your brain processes memories overnight.
Good luck on finals! Some of us will have office hours during Finals Week, so feel free to drop in and chat!
