Welcome Back from the PAAs
Welcome to Winter Quarter! We hope you all enjoyed a restful winter break and are ready for all the excitement Winter Quarter has to offer. The PAAs are back again and here for you whenever you need us. We have a lot of fun events planned for the quarter so we hope you’ll join us. Come hike with us during the weekend after week 2, Saturday January 20th. Meet in Lot 14A and we will head out to Laguna Coast Wilderness Park for a fun hike! (RSVP link and more information included in this copy of CHP news) Freshmen who have had your Freshmen Meetings, your course plans are due week 5 so come out to our Course Planning Workshops on January 23rd from 4:30-5:30pm in Buckleberry! Represent the CHP at the Western Regional Honors Conference
Represent the CHP at the Western Regional Honors Council Conference on April 14-15 in Orange, California! This two-day conference is an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff of honors programs across the western U.S. to come together to network, share research and ideas, and discuss current issues relevant to honors programs and honors education. The CHP will be able to provide registration funding for a limited number of students who are interested in attending or presenting at the conference. Deadlines are approaching, so please complete the WRHC RSVP form or email honors@uci.edu by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, January 11 if you are interested in finding out more information.
