Political Science Research Assistants Search
Flexible application deadline
“Hello! My name is Chloe Shin and I am currently completing my senior thesis about Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) females in Congress. I am searching for research assistants to help me collect data on congressional bills and voting records. RA’s will be financially compensated for their work. Although a background in political science or a familiarity with OLS regression models would be helpful, they are not necessary. If you are passionate about diversity and representation, this project would be great for you. Please contact me (shinca@uci.edu) if you are interested!“
Study Participation Opportunity: Crime Drama Viewership and Perceptions of the Criminal Justice System
Now through the end of the quarter
Location: Online via Qualtrics
“Hi everyone! My name is Maddie and I am a fourth year Criminology and Psychological Science double major currently working on my CHC thesis. This research project will compare the perspectives of college students who watch fictional crime and law-related television shows to the perspectives of those who do not watch these shows using a brief online survey. Watching crime dramas is not required to participate in this study (in fact I encourage you to participate even if you don’t watch crime dramas), and participants will have the option to enter into a drawing for one of three $100 Amazon gift cards. Thank you for your contributions to my honors project! Survey link: https://uci.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0TXQTIcJJ2Pffvw “
