Jeff Henderson, award-winning chef, motivational speaker, New York Times bestselling author and Food Network television personality will visit UCI Tuesday, Feb. 15. Campus Recreation and the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs present the free event, co-sponsored by ASUCI, the Student Center and the Cross-Cultural Center. Henderson will host a free cooking demonstration at 3:30 p.m. at the Anteater Recreation Center’s kitchen classroom followed by a lecture and book signing at 6 p.m. at the Student Center’s Doheny Beach A/B auditorium. ASUCI Elections
CHP’s own Megan Braun is running for re-election as ASUCI President. In her second term as ASUCI President, Megan plans to bring better dining options to UCI, reform the bike policy, advocate for more affordable off-campus housing, strengthen alumni relations and improve communication on campus. She is also committed to improving school spirit at UCI through better publicity, more frequent tailgates and pre-game events at the pub.
