Diana has been chosen as the recipient of the 2023 MGREP Research Award. She will be working on the project, titled “Data Analysis and Human Activity Modeling for Electricity and Solar Photovoltaic Electricity Generation,” which is a collaborative effort between UC Irvine and the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico (IPN). Throughout her work on this project, Diana will receive guidance from esteemed mentors Prof. Salma Elmalaki and Prof. Ponciano Escamilla. She will be hosted by Prof. Ponciano Escamilla during her stay at the Computing Research Center of IPN as she embarks on this exciting opportunity.
