We believe that humanizing and normalizing women in STEM careers will allow young girls to see that they have a community behind them should they choose to pursue similar paths.

Collaboration with Girl’s Inc: We are in the process of finalizing an online mentorship program with Orange County high school girls through our involvement with Girl’s Inc. We ask that if you are interested in being an online mentor to these students, please fill out this Google form. We are developing a “Meet the Mentors” page on our websites so the girls will be able to explore careers through our mentors.

Girls in STEM Features: Part of our mission is to normalize women of diverse backgrounds in STEM. To that end, we have showcased a handful of scientists and physicians on our IG and website but we are always looking to amplify new voices and perspectives. If you would like to be featured, please submit this questionnaire!

Our internship application window is still open to those who would like to be involved in the operations of our organization. Upon passing the internship process of 1 quarter, our interns will then be interviewed by the current board to assess their strengths, level of involvement, and preferences in terms of board assignment. Please follow the link to apply.

We are in need of mentors who are willing to form a mostly online mentorship relationship with young girls who are interested in learning more about our fields. We may also be invited to in-person speaking events to meet our mentees in a group setting.

Due to the recent developments with COVID-19, we are postponing our informational social to sometime in the Fall of 2020. We appreciate your understanding, and will keep you all updated with our future events.
