We all have targeted some goals for our future and that’s the reason we have decided to continue to graduate school. However, without organizing our life it won’t be possible to reach our goals with the best qualification that we expect. I believe that staying organized is a necessary step toward success.
Staying organized has two aspects: organizing our surrounded environment and organizing our time. I would say that keeping your environment clean and organized helps a lot to step toward organizing your time and life.
There are many ways to manage time, and we all have heard about them. Also lots of applications are available to keep tracking your scheduling. But, I think organizing the environment that we are living there is an important key that we don’t hear much about it. I have experienced that whenever I keep my house clean I’m more energetic to exercise or do my studying.
I strongly suggest you that for the first step toward being organized, try to keep your surrounding environment clean and organized.
Good luck!
This is great advice. I also suggest blocking out time for certain tasks you want to accomplish or making a task list to keep yourself in check. This also allows you to block time for you to relax and unwind which is important even as a grad student. Google calendar is a great tool to do this but pick whatever works best for you! Keeping your mind organized is a great way to reduce stress.
