There are many applications (app) and websites out there that provides discount price and good deals for students or in general to make our life easier. 🙂 In this post, we want to provide a list of useful apps/websites and a short description for each them.
1) Uber is a peer-to-peer ridesharing, food delivery, taxi cab, and transportation app.
2) Lyft is a peer-to-peer ridesharing, taxi cab, and transportation app.
3) Postmates is a food delivery app.
4) TripAdvisor is a website that explores popular places in any cities.
5) AllTrails is a useful app for exploring hiking trails in different states.
6) Splitwise is a useful app for splitting expenses with your friends.
7) Meetup is an app for being notified about different local events.
8) Facebook Local is an app for being notified about different local events.
9) Yelp is an app for looking up any places and seeing reviews.
10) Amazon is a website for selling, buying, and renting almost anything you want. 🙂
11) EBay is a website for selling/buying almost anything that you want as well. 🙂
12) Groupon is a useful app for getting discount deals for activities, goods, etc.

14) Shazam is an application for finding a song’s title only by listening to it
15) Google Drive is a 1TB storage that each UCI student has access to. So, feel free to use it. 🙂
