Most of you would have arrived by now and would be coping up with new surroundings, setting up things in house etc. While setting up household things is painful, the task becomes easier when you know where to buy stuff from. So, in this blog, let’s discuss the nearby stores to reach out for necessary household items.
Here’s a list:
Walmart Superstore:
A store wherein you get almost every household item at an effective price.
Nearest store: 2.2 miles from UCI
Address: 16555 Von Karman Ave a, Irvine, CA 92606
Time: 6 AM to 12 AM
Target:
There’s a mini target store right next to university where most household items are available. Its a place where you can run to easily whenever you need to stock up something urgently (like when you run out of kitchen towels or bathroom tissues etc.)
Nearest store: Right across street

Time: 8 AM to 10 PM
Another store: 3.7 miles
Address: 3750 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92606
Time: 8 AM to 11 PM
Costco Wholesale:
If you are someone who stocks up things in bulk for the entire year, this is the place you should prefer buying things from. Costco is a wholesale store wherein you get most day to day household items in bulk at a very effective price.
Nearest store: 4.7 miles from uci
Address: 115 Technology Dr, Irvine, CA 92618
Time: 10 AM to 8:30 PM
IKEA
Looking to buy some good furniture at a lower price? Yes IKEA is the right place then.
Nearest store: 6 miles
Address: 1475 S Coast Dr, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Time: 10 AM to 9 PM
Dollar Store:
Everything you pick is for 1$. So if you are willing to buy something but don’t wish to spend alot, you can always check it out at dollar store.
Nearest store: 5.7 miles
Address: 2230 Fairview Rd unit d, Costa Mesa, CA 92627
Time: 8 AM to 9PM
So those were almost all the stores I prefer buying my household items from. Most stores have an online website and offer to deliver. In case I don’t find something at these stores, I rely on Amazon.
