Achieving Whole Person Care through Workforce Innovation

University of California faculty presented their ongoing research and engaged in a discussion focused on legislative, academic and community efforts toward increasing and diversifying workforce in light of report recommendations. During this evidence briefing, participants had the opportunity to discuss what legislative/research next steps are necessary to follow report recommendations related to behavioral, home health, and mental health workers. The briefing provoked thoughtful discussion about the ways in which the State can build a health workforce that responds to individuals’ and communities’ spectrum on health needs.
