My full name is Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini. My first name is Seyed Mojtaba, but Seyed is more of a prefix, so I prefer Mojtaba. I was born and raised in Birjand, one of the easternmost cities of Iran. I moved to Tehran and studied Industrial Engineering at Sharif University of Technology. Then I moved to Istanbul, where I met my lovely wife Arezou when we were both in the Industrial Engineering and Operations Management program at Koç University. She specializes in machine learning and computational biology. We love travelling, and have travelled half of Europe, with many more places yet to discover around the world.
