Anti-Cancer Challenge – June 8

Staff Service Awards – June 18
- 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Bren Events Center, UCI Campus. First ever UCI Enterprise-wide staff service awards and State of UCI Address. All UCI employees are invited to attend. Administrative leave has been granted by the Chancellor with department approval. RSVP Now
Summer Staff Intramural Volleyball League Registration Open
- League available at both the Campus and Medical Center. Registration is open through July 9. League play starts July 15. Recruit and register your team today
New Financial Wellness and Mental Health Awareness EAP Toolkits
- ComPsych, our EAP vendor, launched two new online resources to help address top concerns at UCI. Both are posted on the EAP website and linked below:

  - Financial Wellness Toolkit

Promote upcoming events and new resources
Post the attached Staff Service Awards Flyer and promote your co-workers to RSVP
Make a plan to implement a wellness program in your department.

No Farmers Market on Wednesday, May 15
Hospital Week Celebration BBQ will be held.
The market will resume May 22.

- Invited me for a Wellness Update to their department of over 100 employees!
5 Tower Medical/Surgical – Van Le
- Invited me for the next 3 Unit Practice Councils to talk through resiliency, mental and financial health resources.
Cardiology – Alison Dorff
- Invited me to a wellness talk for the Cardiology clinic and continues to be a spearhead coach in our Diabetes Prevention Program!
Tustin Multi-Specialty – Brianna Hale
- Invited me to round the Tustin clinic and to hear more about what’s going well and the needs for the department.

Bike to Work Day is on May 14
- From 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. along the sidewalk adjacent to Building 3

UC Walks is on May 21
- From 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 55 lawn
  Walks will begin every half hour beginning at 10:00 a.m.
  The last walk will begin at 1:00 p.m.
  Group Photo under the balloon arch is at 12:00 p.m.
  T-shirts available for attendees (while supplies last)
