About Us

The ICS Tutoring Center provides in-person course support led by ICS undergraduates who have taken and trained to serve as Learning Assistants in ICS courses.

The center focuses on support for first & second-year ICS students since retention rates are highest for students who pass their first two years of courses.

Courses supported are:
* ICS 6B: Boolean Logic & Logic
* ICS 6D: Discrete Mathematics for Computer Science
* ICS 31: Introduction to Programming
* ICS 32: Programming with Software Libraries
* ICS 32A: Python Programming and Libraries (Accelerated)
* ICS 33: Intermediate Programming
* ICS 45C: Programming in C/C++ as a Second Language
* ICS 45J: Programming in Java as a Second Language
* ICS 46: Data Structures
* ICS 51: Introduction to Computer Organization

The center is funded by the Bren School and first opened in Fall 2023.
