iFireNet is led by Prof. Tirtha Banerjee, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of California, Irvine. Co-PIs are from UC Irvine (Prof. Efi Foufoula-Georgiou), UC Berkeley (Prof. Michael Gollner), Oregon State University (Prof. David Blunck), and Wake Forest University (Prof. Lauren Lowman). The consortium also includes the US Forest Service, The Canadian Forest Service wildland fire Division, the Pyrolife Consortium (EU), The Leverhulme Centre for wildfires (UK), and the Bushfires and Natural Hazards CRC (Australia), as major partners. iFireNet is further supported by several other organizations such as Tall Timbers Research Station, National Fire Protection Association, Australian Research Council, and major wildfire research labs around the world.
