Fire Science Inventory.
iFireNet is housing a complete but non-exhaustive catalog of word-class fire datasets and fire models. The Fire Science Inventory was developed by the iFireNet network of research teams from 40 organizations including UC Irvine, UC Berkeley, US Forest Service, Oregon State University, Wake Forest University, Imperial College London, University of Melbourne etc. This program is funded by the National Science Foundation under the AccelNet program.
The Fire Science Inventory is intended for community managers and field researchers and is a one-stop shop for the distribution of the best available science in wildland fire forecasting and management.
The Fire Science Inventory is a work in progress, and is made to be periodically updated as new information becomes available. The essence of this catalog is to be designed on the basis of your suggestions, collaborations and knowledge. If you think about datasets, models or any other piece of information that would believe should figure in this inventory, please contact: Constance May at constance.may@uci.edu or Tirtha Banerjee at tirthab@uci.edu .
