  1. New hasp was received yesterday. It was installed and tested OK. The EDS system is fully back up.

  2. The new software does not work with our old Machasp. A quote for a new hasp and software is received today. A PO request is submitted and approved today. UCI accounting office may start to process the PO tomorrow. Good news is that 4pi agrees to send me the hasp and software before the PO is received. Further test will be carried out this week.

  3. EDS software is installed today. Testing the EDS system. No EDS signal can be detected. Will check the software setting and detector with EDS vendor…

  4. The MAC is fixed today. Working on connecting this Mac to internet. Software installation may start when the internet connection is done.

  5. I have contacted the vendor about the computer related issue. It will not be able to do anything for our computer, but is willing to help with software installation. My plan is to fix the MAC first and get some help from the company for EDS software installation then. Calit2 IT person is checking the old MAC, trying to fix it…
