Changing Pt GIS to another port. Pt source was empty. A new Pt sourse was installed and tested OK. Changing OMNI probe needle and and reseting Onmi probe position. Testing TEM/FIB sample preparation will be scheduled soon. Please check calendar for my reservation.
Tried a few times to use OMNI probe and TEM/FIB stage. Found that the OMNI probe might touch Pt GIS as well as sample. FEI engineer was informed. Next week, FEI engineer will check OMNI probe settings. Further OMNI probe test will be done next week.
I will check the ONMI probe and TEM sample preparation procedures when the instrument is available. Please check the reservation calendar from time to time. Users are welcome to watch when I am working on the instrument.
