To solve some minor issues with CM-20 TEM, FEI engineers are carrying out maintenance service this week. I hope that with this service, all users may enjoy better performance of the old TEM for the whole year. I will post another message if the service is completed earlier than expected.
TEM maintenance completed (1/4-7/2011, 1/12-14/2011)

A refurbished goniometer replaced the old one. New apertures were installed. TEM relaigned. TEM has been working well since last Friday. Job done. Please let me know if there is any further issue.
The maintenance was completed by 1/7/2011. Some minor problems were solved. Because some parts of the current goniometer were worn away, service engineer is trying to get a better one for us. If the parts arrives soon, there may be further maintenance from 1/13 to 1/14. Please check reservation calendar
