The TEM camera suddenly stopped working this afternoon. Just emailed Gatan engineer. Waiting for his response

TEM camera has been fixed today. I did a test. The camera works well. The TEM is fully up now.
I received chiller parts at 11:30 and fixed the chiller at 2pm. The TEM vacuum was recovered at 5pm and the HT conditioned at 5:30pm. Let the HT stable overnight. Gatan engineer will be on campus to repair the CCD camera tomorrow morning. If everything is going smoothly, the TEM will be fully up by FRI. Please check the updates.
A chiller problem was reported on 2/27, which caused the TEM fully down and also postponed the planned on-site camera service which was scheduled for 2/28. Chiller parts were ordered on 2/27 and will arrive on 2/29. After fixing the chiller, I will reschedule the camera repair. More updates will come tomorrow.
Gatan service department was contacted for an on-site service. A repair quote was received from Gatan on Tuesday (Feb 21). A PO request was approved immediately by Prof. Yee and submitted to Calit2 business office. A PO was generated by UCI purchase office and sent to Gatan on Tuesday (I surprised at the speed of generating the PO this time). Waiting for a notice from Gatan for the date of the repair.
On Feb 17 (Fri), Gatan engineer did on-line diagnosis. He is going to discuss the results with a senior engineer and tell us what is the best solution to the problem next week.
