The multi-stub holder is locked into the stage mount so it cannot be removed. If you only need to use the multi-stub holder, the instrument will work fine, as normal. But if you need to use the single stub holder or the TEM prep holder, you will have to wait until the part is replaced. The target date to fix this is Mon, 3/19. An update will come when it is fixed.

The stage is repaired by FEI engineer and shipped back, but there is still a problem with the stage. Now a TEM holder has replaced the multi-stub holder because TEM sample preparation is highly demanded. This TEM holder can be used for SEM and FIB as well. If you need any training to use the TEM holder, please contact Matt or Dr. Zheng. If you want to use single stub holder for EBSD, please contact Dr. Zheng.
